This isn’t actually as interesting as the title makes out, but I really agree with JF’s comments on aviation security..
Our politicians also have a responsibility to ensure that legislation brings about a real benefit in terms of security as opposed to introducing spur of the moment legislation because a journalist happened to breach security. It is too easy to add security measures overnight which have long term implications to our industry. It is never easy for a politician to reduce security.
