Flying Aircraft Carrier – History Channel

I have just watched “the Flying Aircraft Carrier” from the History channel about the search for the USS Macon. What a fascinating chapter in aviation history. If anybody out there has a Sky box, I can recommend this as a great way to spend an hour. From the tie in with the Zeppelin company, to the footage of the Sparrowhawks (F9C-2) minus landing gear, it showed me a something new with regards to aviation and made a nice change to the “Top 10 deadly (American) fighters that we have footage of” sort of shows.
