Just received the latest on the Jersey International Air Display in the running order is a Douglac DC6 does any one know any information on the aircraft?.
Is it the Red Bull Aircraft or Air Atlantique?.
If it is the Red Bull do they do possible DC6 Trips? If so, it could be worth raiding the piggey bank.

APSA came overhead Southam VRP (close to its home) roughly heading ESE this morning. Heard it first before we saw it – I thought we were about to be bombed. I’d forgotten just how sexy a DC6 sounds! 😀

G-APSA passed overhead Stapleford Airfield this morning at 10:45 local in a south easterly direction.
One of those captivating moments. 🙂

Does anyone know what day/time she will return to Coventry from Hamburg?
Just for comparison, here is a photo of the original PH-TGA at London Heathrow in 1953 about to commence the London-NZ Air Race. You can see what a good job they have done in making ‘PSA look authentic.

She looks fantastic in that livery and I to hope KLM will sponsor her. Have Air Atlantique still got an DC-6 for sale or is that old news? And is the frogy DC-3 still flying?
Regards
James

I agree she looks absolutely superb – here’s a shot I took of her last Friday routing out of Coventry.
Lovely Tim! Wish she would appear on next year’s show circuit in FULL markings, without having to have the titles deleted? Maybe KLM will sponsor her?

G-APSA Departure
Was working on the Phantom today at the Midland Air Museum and was fortunate enough to see her leave for Jersey.
This was the first time I saw her in her new scheme and I was gobsmacked at her. She looks brand new!!
I still think out of all CF’s aircraft, the 6 is by far the best! You can’t beat the sound of those four radials………….or three as the case may be:D
Another reason why I hope CF never leave Cov. You can’t beat them sounds and sights.
Well done guys!

The DC-3 and Anson should arrive at Lelystad at approx 0900 local time. The DC-6 may be later as it is coming direct from Jersey airshow.
Hope this helps.
Tom.

Lelystad: Arrival/Departure times?
Hello,
According to http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=74137 DC-6 G-APSA will be flying to the Hamburg Airshow together with G-AMPY, the Anson, DC-2 and another two Dakotas.
Is DC-3 G-AMPY the only Air Atlantique/Classic Flight aircraft that will land at Lelystad this week? Or will the DC-6 and Anson also make a (return)visit to this airfield?
If so, any ETAs/ETDs known for both propliners?
Many thanks in advance for all information given!
