Finally got my copy the other day from play.com at a bargain price of £11.99! and just thought i’d air my appreciation to the crew behind the production.
Absolutely Marvelous! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Probably the best airshow video i’ve seen, very well filmed with some awsome camera angles. The lighting conditions for both days were very poor from a photographers point of view, and it must have been quite difficult for the camera men and post production crew to achieve the stunning clarity and colour you see on the DVD.
Quite a few nice extras, always love to hear what the veterans say and the minicam footage is brilliant. Title screens are also a nice touch and chapter selection by aircraft is a godsend.
So, thank you to Steve Conner and his chaps for producing a superb DVD that i can now use to satisfy my warbird withdrawel symptoms and one that also serves as a reminder of how good last years show actually was.
p.s. when the P-39 lands after it’s slot, the main tyres touch and it looks as though they spark orange flashes?! can anyone tell me what this was?

Thanks for that, but it looks like Legends 2005 may be the last Airshow DVD I do!
Damn shame!! I do hope it isn’t.
P.s Can anyone tell me where’s best to get previous years Leg Ends DVDs/Videos?

It was Damiens fill-in flash bulbs going off. Damned bugger thinks of everything.

In hope not! 🙁
Enjoyed your airshow videos over the years. 🙂
Anyway, like everyone else, I’ll extend my congrats to you over the Legends 2004 DVD.

Steve
If you need any help cross checking the commentary, I’m sure there are a number of forum members (myself included) who would gladly help.

For the first time in one of my airshow DVD’s,the commentary was written by someone else, I trusted them to get it right, so I felt it wasn’t necessary to fact check the whole script. You live and learn!

Budget and space limitations mostly prevent this, but sometimes when the pilot wears a ‘helmet cam” this can get control views as well.
Thanks a million for the reply,if you can do it in the future it would be fantastic,Many thanks.

Could i ask if it would be possible to fit more than 1 mini cam in the cockpit so it can film some more of the controls and cockpit details as well as the views form the outside. Not sure if it would be feasable but i found i wanted to move the camera around to get a more alround view,an excellent dvd though and the “non commentator mode” is a real plus. 🙂
