As you’re all probably suffering from Airshow winter withdrawal symptoms, I thought I’d post this video I took at this years Legends of the opening Spit tailchase.

Btw, for some reason which I haven’t figured out yet, it’s missing a minute or so of footage at the end yet there were no problems during the upload!
I haven’t had time to try and sort it out yet but I thought I’d share it with you anyway. 🙂
Cheers
Paul

Try “right click, save target as…” and see if that helps.

Is it me? When I click on the video link nothing happens – any ideas?

My girlfriend’s favourite thing about Legends was that Griffon Spit tailchase – that whole slot felt a lot longer than the 7-odd minutes of video there! 🙂

Nice one again Brad! I slightly prefer this one above your FS spitfire clip.
Thanks,

Transferring from Camera to computer,i’ll ask someone i know who is doing it.
Off the top of my head i think you need a video card that accepts video/digital imput and he is using an editing package, something like Nero.I will try and find out some more for you 🙂

Commentators are “part” of the show but not “the”show the Aeroplanes are. They[the commentators] should shut up during the flying sequences in my opinion.
Italian Harvard,do you mean transferring from the video camera onto a computer to put onto a dvd /video or just a link from the camera to a vhs video recorder.

eheeheh they blabbered a lot, but as mmitch said they’re part of the show, and somehow keep everything on the move. I would have been quiet during the displays, but it’s my personal taste.
I made a video too, some 1 hour of footage over the 2 days, I tried importing it from my digicam since august but had no luck. I mean I could import it ok, but the quality is always far from the original digital tape. I wanted to edit it, cutting here and there, adding some fx etc.. but every software I tried was a bummer.. any hints?
cheers

Very nice Paul! The sound came over good and commentators are part of airshows as well!

Very nice Paul….just wished those commentaters wouldn’t just talk so much!
I second that, they are a pain in the a*se,they love the sound of their own voices,i’m taking my wire cutters next year 😡

This is being downloaded at home later – and thankfully I shall have an empty house. Time to pump up the volume! 😀

Amazing Paul. Thanks for sharing! We don’t see many Spitfires out here in Vancouver.
Seasons Greetings,

Thanks, Paul.
I love RN201, and I don’t know why as I’m not usually keen on the silver/red scheme.
