Flying Legends 2014 images from Sunday – Hope you like them

Thanks Simon and Rocketeer. I was a little hesitant to use HDR but have to be honest and say it turned out better than I hoped in most cases. Personally speaking my favourite shot is the two guys undercover of the Mustang in the Rain. I don’t know why but it does look almost authentic.
BTW, I shot some video on the Saturday and edited it here should it be of interest. Covers mainly the american machines but does have the Lancaster, Peashooter and other aircraft in action. Also shows a very over primed Rolls Royce engine shooting flames everywhere from the static display.

Some nice HDRs there – isn’t it pleasing how they still have the HDR effect when you desaturate the colours?!

I particularly like the Laurel and Hardy one and also the rainy Mustang. The only annoying thing about some HDRs is that you get a halo effect around the subject but that seems to work very nicely indeed for the black and white Sally B Fisheye shot. Good work!
