second, has any one put one of those long range missiles onto an awacs? i have read maybe here, that the US is planning to equip some AWACS with A2A as a defensive measure, but what bout offensive measures?

for A2G what about putting a smerch with gps guidance, have read they offered something similar to the Indians during Kargil I the smerch that is……. on the under belly or the cargo entrance of the An-124 or Tu-90: it could be retracted during landing and would not need to extend out that far during flight.
