FlyJetGreen 757 painted!

I am shocked that FlyJetGreen have even got this far! TF-FIS, B757, has been painted in the c/s. The c/s is pretty crap though!
Also G-BYAD and G-CDUO, both painted in the new Thomson.co.uk colours within the last week, their getting through them very quickly!
All pics taken at Maastricht.

I saw it today, in the flesh at DUB and it didn’t look nearly as bad as it does in the pics 😉

I think the Jetgreen livery in quite nice.

Overall, it’s not that great, but it does have its good points. For instance the colours and the stripes, I am quite fond of.

I think the jetgreen livery is naff. Its just so basic!
The one good point is what T5 said about it being easy to get rid of when they go bust! and as for the thomson.co.uk livery, IT’S HORRIBLE!!

I liked the old Hapag Lloyd colour scheme better.

Yeah, that livery was great, I can remember G-BYAS in Menorca when it was in the classic livery in August 2003. It looked brill. We were on G-BYAD, in the TUI livery, I’ve never really liked it. I think the Thomsonfly livery looks ok as it fills the whole length of the fueselage, but the Thomson.co.uk livery is too boring, it doesn’t fit in. (That’s my opinion by the way!!)

Come on, I can’t be the only one who likes the thomson.co.uk scheme more than the other TUi Britannia c/s. At least its bright, stands out and is bold. Though I think they really should of tried to design a livery along the lines of the old one which was fantastic. But the TUi group probably wanted the airlines to wear similar schemes.

T5- Good point about the FlyJetGreen scheme 😀

The Thomson.co.uk colour scheme is out of control and cluttered. It has those huge letters plastered across the fuselage, ‘Boeing 757-200’ at the back of it, a registration and a Union Jack, a world of TUI logo towards the nose and an aircraft name as well!

As for the Fly Jet Green colour scheme, there is an advantage. When they go under, it’s nice and easy to remove, ready for it’s next operator. 😛

Couldn’t agree more… it’s an absolute dog’s dinner. The original Tui blue concept was quite acceptable in my opinion, the Thomson addition looks like the work of a barely experienced graffiti ned. Most likely sanctioned on the approval of a marketing director with a Burton’s menswear account ?

I know its for advertising purposes but I think that massive thomson.co.uk ruins the look! Britannia was fine.
