I’ve checked with the Mods and it’s OK to do this.
Rather over a year ago I offered a large collection of old Flypasts and The Other Aviation Mag (TOAM) on the forum – reason, just too much to hump around when you live in a single room!
I had one offer, on loan for research, and neither they nor I have ever been back in touch. I know I cannot find his details but if you are out there and can identify yourself (location and reason for wanting them should do) I guess you shall have first dibs.
What have I got? Well, I reckon the set starts in about 1992 – perhaps a year or so earlier – and should be largely complete to date, excepting two TOAMs and three Flypasts from summer 1994 missing (couldn’t afford them in Germany…). There may be a few others but until I actually sit down and go through two very heavy boxes in the in-laws attic… Condition? Well read! None mint or near.
Anyone interested? Postage would be insane, so the closer to Oxford you live the better perhaps? 🙁
Any offers after all those caveats?

If you have no better idea I could collect them and pass on to FAST museum(www.fasta.something or other) at Farnborough.
They have an extensive library, I believe with all FP etc, and they sell on surplus magazines and books to raise funds
I’m near LHR but Oxford not a problem
I’m on hols out of UK from tomorrow Weds 23rd until Tues 2nd but if this is a good idea (and it would put something back into historic aviation !)you could PM me and I’ll
come to collect on my return

What a good idea! They are even just down the road from the inlaws attic! I’ll give it another day or so here and try them, then I guess I sort them out and see what I really have. I guess evryone else here has them too…

Just a thought, Adrian – see if your local ATC squadron would be interested.

Bump! I need to shift them, and I don’t want to bin them!
