Flypast mags – free to a good home

Hia

We are just in the process of moving and having a loft/atic clearout. Its time for my flypast mags to go:(. I have most of them from about the mid 80s (think I missed the first year) – they are all in good condition, there may be the odd one missing and they are not in any particular order! (There are also a few CAR magazines from this era in amongst them!)

All free to a good home but I must shift them in the next couple of weeks!

Are there any museums/anyone who would want them to sell on their stall/shop to raise a bit of cash for a good and worthy cause?

I would be happy to deliver them to a 20 mile-ish radius of Loughborough.

The aeropark museum at EMA sell old copies of Flypast etc for their funds. As it’s just down the road from you, I would think they might be interested in taking them off your hands.

Thank you for thinking about Newark. 🙂

I’ve just checked with the Shop Manager and they currently have a ‘back-log’ of similar items in stock, still waiting to be sold – as such they would struggle to accept fresh deliveries for the foreseeable future! 😮

I think Newark Air Museum may take them to sell in the shop, I know they used to.

Give the museum a ring or a PM to twin otter23 to check.

I did something similar a couple of years ago when i moved house.. and my local charity shop in Cambridge took them all (i delivered). Better than binning them i thought.!
