Hi All
Can anyone supply dimensions for any of the coloured parts on the attached image from a real FN4/FN4 A or dimensioned drawings of the same, etc? Even a single dimension would be great.
I could also use any un-dimensioned 2D drawings that include all or parts of the items as it is easy to scale and trace (pretty much how most of it has been done in fact).
I have one version of AP 1659A and the AP for FN4B and I’ve used everything I can from those.
While the parts you see have been animated they don’t seem ‘right’, the last guide doesn’t go down far enough for example.
Many thanks for looking

Hi DBenz
Thanks for the suggestion. I did try the air gunners museum last year. We sort of arranged to be allowed to measure up a turret but as we approached the airfield it soon became clear that we had chosen possibly the one day of the year when they were holding a massive air show!! Got to see the Lanc fly over and had a good time, great re-enactors, but the suggestion that we might measure a turret was a no-go. We did return but in fact they don’t have an FN4, they have the later turrets but it appears that one of the improvements to the turret was to remove this rather convoluted chute system, so none of the turrets there have the system shown.

If you can get to Elvington Museum, Yorkshire, you might be able to measure those items up there, they have a display hut full of turrets, else try them with a pictorial request showing just which bits to measure, but such items will require at least three basic dimensions per item.
