focal lens zoom on digital camera's

as above i have a fuji s20 pro camera and i just cant get close to take most shots into newcastle, so i was thinking about a minolta z2 – z6

my zoom in 35mm is:

35-210

the z3 for eg is 35-420mm

so i guess thats the thing i need, iam right?

i had a teleconverter but it wasnt that good…opteka from ebay….

so with a 420mm lens i could get closer shot but are they still crisp?

any ideas

The Fuji S range of cameras have 10x optical zooms – the S9500 might be what you’re looking for.

Or there is the Samsung Digimax Pro 815 with a 15x optical zoom – a little bit more expensive, but worth looking at.

I’ve got an Olympus C-740UZ with 330mm optical zoom. The only trick is that when using the zoom lens I have to use a tripod to get a decent, clear picture.

Look for my posts on commercial usually starting with BHX or MAN. Anything from April this year is with a Z3. Also try my OW picture threads on historic.
