from what i know she was lifted from the fjord by attaching lifting points to the wings resulting in the airframe collapsing under the stress and the obvious damage ,a sort of loch ness wellingtom scenario.:cool: 😎

any news on this aircrafts restoration in germany? it was badlt damaged when being recovered.:cool: 😎
Flugzeug Classic had an article on it a few months ago. It’s progressing well but a lot of new material. New food for the leave it or restore it brigade.
But the end result will be magnificent. Last year EHVB and me saw a restored inner wing and engine nacelle with look absulutely superb.
