Hi,
I would like to inform you that the book «Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor with Danish Airlines in War and peace” will be ready for delivery latest 9 September 2013. This is part one of the series about the aircraft of Danish airline “Det Danske Luftfartselskab A/S” and part six in the series “A Piece of Nordic Aviation History”. This book has been written by Rob Mulder and Focke-Wulf specialist Günther Ott.
The book describes the history of the two Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor aircraft in Danish service from 1938 until 1946. Not known to many is that the airline purchased two further Focke-Wulf Condors after the Second World War. Of course, these have been described as well. Furthermore, the development of the aircraft and the history of the type with Deutsche Lufthansa have been included. The book will also give you a correct list of all civil Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor aircraft taken in service.
The book has been written in English and has 160 pages and 222 photographs. Many of these have not been published before. Juanita Franzi from Aero Illustrations has made ten beautiful color profiles of the two aircraft in their different colour schemes. Each drawing has its own page.
