Fokker First Flight

Paul and Sarah Fords DR1 replics took to the air for the fist time yesterday evening at Sywell. I was very privaliged to carry out the first very sucsessfull flight .

That’s a wonderful accomplishment, congratulations to all concerned.

Please tell what it’s like to fly – control response, ground handling, stability, visibility on approach etc?

Looks fantastic, though. There’s something about the old Triplane that just makes it look so… purposeful?
