Was putting in all my models into temporary storage yesterday (boxing them up etc).
Came across the Airbus A340-600 test aircraft, and took off one of the engines, and put a 777 engine on in its place… now looking like an very good scale model of the A340 test aircraft thats been flying arounfd with the test A380 engine on it. 😀 (I know the real one is a 300 and not a 600 :p)
Heres a pic. :p

Last show they bought the 346 in the static park, and the 345 in the flying display (Or was it the other way around!) Perhaps 3 A340s was pushing it a bit?
Last year neither Boeing nor Airbus ever announced what they were actualy bringing. The srong rumour is they will bring the 777-300ER and that Air Berlin 737, but anything is possible and nothing yet confirmed.
Are you over here for the show Tenthije?

ROFL good one Andy! 😀 Looking forward to seeing this one at Farnborough this year…
This is the list of Airbusses coming in for Farnborough. Any clue why the A340-500 is not coming? Also, still no word from Boeing on their commercial airplanes contribution. Two years back they had only one plane come over. The CONEXXION test bed, a 737-400.
