That was possibly the worst refereed game of international football i have ever seen. I don’t know what the hell happened to England, but it was absolutly abysmal watching a yellow card being given for taking a free kick to quickly, even though it is the right of the player to take it unless the players are being talked to, which they wern’t. Utterly appalling. Plus im now technically in love with Karen Carney so thats all fun…

As for the football – not a particularly good showing. One nil up through a penalty, chance to make it two but fluffed it (even I would have scored that one!), then made to pay the price by a Danish side who looked far more organised and composed.

I didn’t watch it, but I gather from my colleagues that were some damned fine fillies running around, particularly the Scandinavians!
