Well she sure is part of HISTORY for the Kiwi’s and Aussie’s now day’s :rolleyes: .

So in my book’s that make’s her Historic 😀 .

I remember seeing them up real close, on the HMAS Melbourne, as a Boy Scout, and saw some cat take off’s 😮 , it was AWSMOME for a us 12/13 year old’s 😎 .

A tribute Dave, Chris and the rest of the Kiwi’s to your last GREAT FIGHTER!!!!!

Enjoy or weep guy’s, how ever you feel take’s you 😮 .

Scooter’s still flying!!

Are there still some early Scooter’s in service??? :confused:

I’m thinking the later bigger engine mod job’s, in Asia still should be!

Is it time now for a few reco Scooter’s for Oz and NZ.

To hit the NZ/Oz airshow scene I’d like to see THAT :dev2: . are there any plan’s at all for this type’s come back :confused: .

I’d still like to see some up and about again 😎 , what about you Kiwi’s over there 😀 .

Also, from the same site, there is a fantastic selection of pictures and video of the RNZAF Skyhawks inflight both here in NZ and in Aussie: here 😉

I live on the otherside of Henderson creek, not far from Whenuapai Airforce base, and miss the sound of these awesome aircraft tearing through the sky overhead.
Twas a sad day when the plug was pulled on them. 😡

Cool pics !

I got to see Skyhawks in action when I was in NZ last year !

Unfortunetly, it was only on film at Air Force World (AFW) in Christchurch 🙁
But I did see one up close at Ohakea Air Base ! 😀 ……. and sit in the simulator in AFW 😮 😉
