BAF F-16AM crashed at El Centro

Place: El Centro, California, USA
Reason: When attending Night Vision Goggle/Targeting Pod-training in El Centro (USA) the pilot had a crash-landing. While landing, the FA-60 broke his left landing gear. After a short time, the nose wheel also collapsed and the plane stopped next to the runway. Heytjens stayed cool and remained in his cockpit. The FA-60 was planned to be stored at Weelde this year, so it will probably not be repaired.

Fortunately no injuries, so forgive me the slightly humorous tone in the title…
