No. The rumour was that the flight would be operated for four days by EC-IPN of Air Plus Comet. Nothing on the first day but BDXG turned up at least twice. 747’s of any hue are a rarity and usually only turn up as the result of a diversion. OIA used to use them but it’s all A310’s for them now.

Some kind of chater to and from Nairobi. Landed on 33, turned off the runway and onto the outer taxiway in front of the terminal. They normally stop there and shut down their engines before being towed to stand. This one, G-BDXG didn’t. He carried on along the outer taxiway, through the Echo 1 hold and back down 33 before turning off to the left and Parking outside the maintenance area.
