Hey Wings, what’s going on are we gonna keep Feds and McCarty or are they gonna jump ship?
What do you think we should do for next year? Lucky Luc is gone, which is good imo, and Stevie will sign for less money. How about bringing over Grigorenko? Think he’s ready?

Whereabouts at LHR is this fantastic photo opportunity spot?? Please tell – I’ve got to get down there!! 🙂

I stood here for a good 40 minutes last time I was at LHR and got a few good shots of aircraft on the other side of the fence but never actually saw an aircraft come across. It did open once just to let a tug come through!
I did get at the front of the que shortly before that though when they dragged a 777 across, but didn’t have my camera on the front seat.
When I was there, there was always a police car around when the gates opened, has that always been the case? I can’t see any in these pics.

I think this is the best element of LHR, it allows you to get as close to these aircraft as you possibly can. I remember going up there in March of this year, and they brought a Concorde across the road, and I stood directly under its wing, you could almost touch it!!!!
The closest to concorde I have ever been in my life… Nice experiance.
I have done it wth the 747 to but, even though it was good, having a concorde pass over your head at no more than 20-30 feet above, is just something eles!:D

And finally this is an aerial shot of where they cross to, the BA maintainence hanger.
So as you can see a good place for photo ops! I have only ever been at the front of the que when a plane has gone across, it was a 767.
And now for the pic.
