Has anyone seen this film, starring Russell Crowe? He plays an Aussie trainee pilot in Canada in WWII. Sounds interesting.
What aircraft did they use?

For the moment
The film is really not that bad. It does give some idea of how the world came to Western Canada during the war.
The majority of aircraft came from Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, in fact most of the scenes were filmed at the museum, which is well worth the visit if you happen to be in Brandon Manitoba. (They are presently trying to create a museum which will give the average visitor an idea what the CATP was all about. They will do this by recreating the most of the base at Brandon , including buildings and vehicles)
The flyers came from a number of sources including the Reynold’s Museum ( Anson) and the CATPM itself (Tiger Moth) Mr Crowe even got to fly in the Anson a couple of times. The A26 Invader came from Air Spray in Alberta.
The picture below was taken at the Reynolds Museum , the Anson shown , was the one used in the film.
