Shouldn’t the design be called the Lippisch Gershturmellshnitzen, or something?

Thanks dhfan
Thank you dhfan 🙂 , I should have remembered it 😮 , The M.S. plays havoc with my recall now days 🙁 , But there was some spark left about Geoff jr left 🙂 , I now recall how much it shocked me to read about the test program as a teen 😮 , The quest for speed in the days before area rule and so forth, Must have been wild stuff for the pilots to handle 😮 , And deadly in many cases 🙁 , I don’t recall the other pilots names who died  , Geoff stuck with me because being DHs son 😉 , Must have taken a lot out of the old boy at the time 🙁 , I could now dive in to the books, Which surround me in my bed room for the names, But if anyone beats me to it  , Thats fine 😀 , Cheers everyone, Tally Ho! Phil. 😉

That design just cries out “pinched from Germany”, if you ask me! 😀

3 built, 3 pilots killed. Not one of de Havilland’s more successful designs.
Geoffrey de Havilland Jr. was the first.
