My attempt at the TB885 Profile. I added the squadron badge although I don’t know if it was ever there.
I went with what made sense to me for that time of the war markings vs what was in that painting as I don’t think that was correct.
Hope it works for you

Who now wants that Spit and wants it flying too! 🙂

Dan & Geoff,
All the shots I can find of 322 Sqd. Spitfires show the ‘3’ as being straight topped with ‘chunky’ characters. There are a few on this site.

I would think the Squadron badge was speculative and best left off.

Magic, as ever Dan. Can you do a version as per the painting, just for completeness?
I would be interested what other more knowlegable people (Mark 12) have to say re any corrections to your profile.
As far as TB885 is concerned, I believe it will stay in storage, until such time as the museum has the money to restore it. This is the cockpit section, as seen in FlyPast, August 1991.
Geoff.
P.S. Hello Doug & Dave 😀
