The Patrouille Suisse and Finnish Midnight Hawks ( 4 X Hawk T51) are both confirmed for RIAT this year.
Obviously the Finnish team – making their only second foreign appearance have links with the Hawks 30th anniversary at the show.

To answer the question, yes, it will be at Fairford. The tankers move in during March.

You’re thinking airshows and not operational consequences…

Will RIAT be at Fairford this year, given Mildenhall’s runway being relaid?

Probably couldn’t find a small enough exhibition tent to house it in…..;) 🙁

Not strictly true – the armed forces combined had planned to put on an exhibition, initially in 2003, but it was cancelled then, and again now, because of operational commitments.
Not the RAF pulling out – they will still be there and support the show as usual. The planned exhibition of our armed forces has been axed.
