Former Spitfire Factory Closes

The Ford Transit Van factory at Swaythling near Southampton closed for vehicle production today; apparently it used to build Spitfires during the war:

it was cunliffe-owen I am certain. my mother worked there throughout the war.

Start digging they must be buried , thats the only way to long term store spitfires in crates.:rolleyes:
