On friday the F1 BAe 146 arrived at Cranfield for maintenance so I decided to drive over there this morning. Unfortunately it was still very foggy and while I was taking pics the fog was slowly starting to break with the sun coming through..

You can see the mist moving away in this pic.

I cant remember if I posted this but it was from a flight back in September..

In september I flew into Duxford for helitech and heres 2 pics from that day..

Vino Collapso, thanks for the update on G-OFOM. Does that one also get sent to Cranfield? I only ask because G-OFOA seems to be the only i’ve heard of visiting Cranfield for maintenance over the years.

Ah if I had seen it I guess it wasnt you.
Must of been crazy crossing the Alps in that!:DBy the way, I think the F1 BAe 146 in your pic is G-OFOM which was white. 🙂
Still is white and still operated by F1, but more of a hangar queen and not used as frequently as G-OFOA

G-ARNE is around a lot – it is an eight member group so flies quite a bit. The last time I was in Cornwall though was before then, in my previous mount RA02050
The G51 was just sort of mouldering away.
An eventful trip (The Colt and I have been to Italy three times) and very steady at 80 knots, with negligible rate of climb and Alps in the way.

Hey Moggy, I think that they have 2, one is silver and other is white. I’ll do abit of a search of the net later and let you know if thats the case.
Was your plane G-ARNE? Hmm i’m sure i’ve seen it before. You didn’t happen to fly it down to Truro or perranporth somewhere between 2003 and 2007 did you?
The”Eh”Team,
Thanks very much. I thought i’d try to show off something abit different as its always nice to break away from the normal airliners etc that everyone posts 🙂 I like smaller airfields as you always see something different and I enjoy flying from cranfield as theres always something different in. 🙂

Hi EGTC….Last four of your photo’s are really interesting but the balloon shot is just a pleasing shot to look at and so different from the norm., on the threads.:)
Mogg c was the Fiat G91T next to your aircraft an active aircraft or just on full time static display? interesting photo though from an eventful trip..

Yay! I don’t often get a chance to contribute over here.
My picture of that very same aircraft (I think. I am not very hot on registrations, are there more than one?) pictured as I and my previous aircraft (The Colt) passed through Albenga in Italy on our way to become the first foreign registered aircraft ever to land at a newly built strip at Aprilia
This was in 2006
