There seems to be a large number of the Forum Members who would like to meet up sometime – other threads suggest a meet at Old Warden on 15th May.
I can’t spend time on organising a meeting, but what I can do is arrange a PA message at all Old Warden shows advising Flypast Forum members of an RV and time. I would suggest the Flypast Stand, or the Beer Hut at, say, 1600? If you want a differrent time or place, let me know. I’ve offered the same to PPRuNers, so if you belong to that group as well, you’ll be in for a busy day!
The success or failure of this is up to you, but I reckon that it might just work. Don’t forget to wear a Flypast sticker or Badge – maybe someone could make a template that we could download, add our own name/handle, then print and wear…… Why not put one in the mag, Flypast, or have (sell?) them on the stand?
Be there or be square

Cleaning the windows is one thing, not having any sugar is a totally different matter π
See you in a few weeks

I’m going to try my best to be there on the 15th, I’ll have a Mustang shirt on and probably a beer in hand π

I’ll be there, hopeully not twiddling my thumbs.
Really glad today’s weather was not the same last week, still we have time for it to dry out.
I knew we shouldn’t have cleaned the windows. I promise not to do it again this year.

Hope to be there for both, however they both clash with events at Abingdon.
Old Warden is too good to miss however.

May 2nd and 15th.
Robbo and Mike J.
Yes Iβll be there May 2nd.
I reckon Mr Patterson might well have an interesting Sunday getting back to Heathrow and Kansas City after weβve primed him with Old Speckled Hen for a few hours.
As far as being allowed out and brownie points go.
I do all the cooking here anyway so Iβm always well stocked with a positive number of those.
May 1st sees the next unit of Mrs ‘Andy in Beds’ degree course starting so Iβll probably be asked to leave the house for long periods of the summer to give her some peace and quiet.
She will be attending on May 15th though. Itβs a Psychology degree and she says Aviation nuts make an interesting case study!!βAny idea what she means???????
All the best
Andy

Myself and Mrs DHfan will be there.
I think Steve Young and Moggy were threatening to be around as well.

I cant make it im afraid but i would have enjoyed greeting you in Swedish. I was given a crash course in Swedish pronunciation by a Swedish chap on the 19hr Narvik-Lulea-Stockholm train. π

My son will most likely come too, and perhaps his children, although you’d better let me know if this is to be a purely adult gathering, so we can find alternative amusement for the children (reasonably well-behaved boys of around 10-13). Never having been to Old Warden before, I don’t know what would be available for them.

Forum Meet….
Wow,
this meeting is getting to be big.
Seeing as Airbedane has started this thread specifically about May 15th.
Can we have a quick count up of how many of us are intending to be there?
So far we have Airbedane, Robbo and Papa Lima as well as myself and Mrs AiB.
(she loves the pictures of last week, Robbo, MoF and Damien by the way)
So far then with my limited arithmetic we have five.
How many more?
Andy

Just booked my flights to from Stansted, so I’ll be there; no badge or sticker though! I hope my avatar will be enough to identify me, and you can always greet me in Swedish (“Hej!” pronounced “Hey”) π
