Forum visit to DH Museum – new date!

All,

I propose the 29th January as the new date to visit the DH Museum. Please register your interest here, though this is not essential!

Again, it will still be the museum closed season, and will be cold, you can be sure!

I hope to see as many of you as possible – and will be grateful for any feedback you can offer.

All the best

Bruce

GASML
I think you may already have this URL, but I’ll put it here in case anyone else is interested. – http://www.hertsflyingclub.co.uk/.
Brian Curtis, who runs the strip is very friendly.

From the website:

The club operates two grass strips,
050° – 230° by approx 350 yds long and level
140° – 320° by approx 275 yds long with a slight slope, 320° end lowest.
Both are wide with a good approach.

GASML – I am sure you could get the Luton Minor onto the adjacent strip!

I should be able to make it. So count me in. Unless random weddings, birthdays or other things knowing what my family are like come up, and if they do it is likely to be the weekend before when i find out that theyve planned something else.

Hi Bruce

Yea count me in. Can offer a lift to anyone who needs picking up from Train/Tube or Elstree Airfield.

bruce.

The 29th is fine for me.

I may be on sticks or in the chair. Regarding feedback, would be happy to discuss any issues regarding access with you. Even if I’m on my feet I’ll bring the chair as well if you think it might be useful.

Regards,

I’ll try to make it, though it’ll depend on ‘Croydon cabs’ being available.

Providing I get permission from the Control Tower, I should be back 🙂

Count me in, have’nt checked for birthday parties but it should be a clear date, probably will have flu or the M25 will catch fire knowing my luck.
