Complete aircraft, cockpit sections, instrument panels etc.
To kick off, as you may know I am working on a Halifax cockpit section using as many original parts, fittings, instruments etc. to create the full size cockpit and flight engineers compartment.
Who’s next?
Cheers

I hope to convert a large number of rusted and corroded bits into this, to be roadworthy sometime in 2006 – I regret that it’s not a Heinkel or a Messerschmitt, and therefore has no aeronautical connections !

Too many projects, not enough time!
Currently the Chipmunk at the Mosquito Museum, which should be done early next year. The I am straight into the Sea Venom, which is in rather a state. I am also startin to prepare the ground to do the Comet 1, which is desperately in need of some love!
I have my own Vampire fuselage, which I have now collected most parts for, but dont have much time to work on!
I also have two Jaguar XJ6’s, which are also neglected, but am slowly getting back on the road!

on a slightly smaller scale, my project is a Blackburn Palouste jet engine (that would start that Bucc quite nicely) that I’m supposed to be gettting running, but never seem to get round to!

Plazz.
thanks for the pics I see what you mean. shame they were damaged. A good metal shop should be able to repair them.
Yes they can Peter, at BAe Brough, their is a chap who was willing to do them but he said that they would have to be transported to Brough and left until they got around to doing them, days turn into months, months turn into years.

Still sounds like Ms Fox…. π
she’s more Airspeed than air head, but will be on the telly next year, doing what she’s most famous for π

the old girl is far more gracious and a little more demure than ms fox, but unfortunately she is a tad on the portly side, and probably suffering from more corrosion than the ex. page three girl too

Peter,
The intakes were damaged a couple of years ago during careless transportation. Theyβre condition has no impact on the running of the engines, but cosmetically they look horrible hence the need for replacement!

Nothing right now, shortly to be one of these (if the damn insurnance check ever gets here π‘ )
Got a 429 & a 460 sitting in the garage looking for a home. I’m thinking 2200lb & 500-600hp should be quite a giggle.. not to mention the possibility of it being a rather adept fanny magnet π
