I apologize excessively. The next fourteen days will be sheer misery for my fellow combatants. I’ve been given a brief to journey to Mijas – that’s in sunny Spain – to report on the Bacchanalian revelries attendant upon a study of Graeco-Roman culture as was, in the period 52 BC to 150 AD.
It goes without saying that I’ll be missed and I’ll miss most of you but, it won’t be long before I’m back in harness to correct the illiterate scribblings of some.
Please do not un-necessarily wind-up the Mods. They fill a vital function in keeping the lid on the bubbling pot of angry cliches and platitudes but, don’t use them all, leave some for me.
