Foxy Lady in London Heathrow

Hello people

I dont know if anybody of you saw this picture at Airlines.net. Im not quite sure is somebody posted it already at the forum.

The picture was taken at London Heathrow. Look at the foxy lady stearing at the photographer. As the photographer commented, she kept stearing at him for a minute or so despite the fact a B777 and A320 departed at the runway behind her. It seems that she found the photographer as more amusing than what was going on behind her.

The photographer named her Foxy Lady…

Sorry for the size of the picture, I couldnt post a bigger one but you can see the bigger version by clicking at the link…..

The Holiday Airport Miami special the other week had a feature on the huge Jack Rabbits that populate the airfield. A huge cull was being discussed at the time.

Damn foxes! We’ve got 8 Guinea pigs and a rabbit which the ones round us try to get hold of, but fortunatley we’ve got 2 rather large dogs it doesn’t like, so we don’t get too much bother from it anymore!

Brilliant picture thanks for that. We also have foxes in our back garden we feed them every evening. I imagine that the wildlife around Heathrow must have got used to the noise by now.

Steve, I think its an optical illusion.

the Cathay B744 must be on the taxiway heading towards the beginning of the runway for departure. If you press the link that I posted (that shows the picture enlarged) you will hardly see the nose cone of a BA A320 at the left hand side of the picture (well at least that was the photographer wrote as remarks).

A330, I think either the fox got used to the noise so she’s not amazed anymore about it (I mean she was more amazed about the photographer than the activity happening behind her); OR she got deaf from the noise! :p

That Cathay 744 looks like it’s parked on grass or is just an optical illusion?

Great snap. I have a whole litter of foxes living in the garden at the bottom of mine. They have 2 baby ones. I managed to get some pictures of them last week.

Im suprised the fox is there really, with all the noise from the jets.

Wonderful shot!

Heathrow amongst other airports have a real problem with wildlife, flocks of birds were once on BBC Airport as a problem, getting sucked into engines and being all mished up. 🙁
