OK, so I gave the ‘heads-up’ I just hope too many of you didn’t bother to watch.
Plenty of MH434, but in a situation so unlikely (Foyles son, newly qualified pilot given a cannon-equipped MkIX in August 1940 and manages to evade UK RDF / radar by flying under a bridge. Must have been a hell of a set of pilot’s notes) as to strain credibility a bit too far.
Rest of the plot had holes that you could fly a MkIX through too.
Shame also that Lee Proudfoot was the only one to get a credit as ‘Spitfire Pilot’ despite the fact they spliced in a chunk of Mark Hanna flying the ‘Moggy’ Spitfire from Piece of Cake.

Nah, sorry mate – missed it. Got ratted on red at lunch time around a friends, then came home after having white at parents, plonked myself down in front of my PC, had a quick go on CFS3, then proceeded to respond to emails, do research, and type up a combat report that I didn’t realise I had! Rather a pleasant Sunday, but I’m afraid I missed the lady with the tarnished buttons.
