I have it on good authority that my good buddy Vince O Connor may have his mid upper Frazier Nash for sale, but will not be cheap as I have inquired for myself, could be a real good project restoration. Also has parts to both a Glenn Martin mid upper and a Lanc front turret. I would suggest a phone call to Mr O Connor to inquire further, if serious at a later date in the process I may be able to get pictures to you, phone 905 852 5474, thats an Ontario number, by the way he also has many “other” items as well, I am sure he would appreciate the call, thank you Darrell

Looks like an FN7 taboo track to me,if you could do some working out of what that internal curve diameter is, we could say for sure.
Hi Martin,
Having looked at many pics now I can conclude that it’s a Mk III Stirling taboo track for the FN50 dorsal turret. While cleaning it today strangely roundel blue paint came to light. That puzzles me.
Cheers

Peter,
I know it’s from a Stirling,
just was wondering if you all agreed about it being part of the taboo track. I have never seen such a thing in the flesh before (most of us young ones didn’t I gather).
Let’s see what the future will bring us.
Cheers

So it’ll look good against our FN7 then:diablo:

Perhaps this taboo track can be from a Mk I using the FN7 turret. The item is not that large compared to the ones fitted with the later FN50 dorsal turrets.
Hmm, this could be a further clue.

I’ll take your word for it Cees, my immediate thought was Lanc but I forgot that the Stirling had a taboo track as well 😮

The electric motor in the background has nothing to do with the part taboo track that is lying in the centre of the pic. It just happened to be lying close to it when I took the pic.
Hindenburg, Jaguar I assume you agree with me that this is part of the Stirling dorsal turret taboo track?

I bet the boys in windsor and Toronto could use the front and top turret parts!
