Of course it’s in Seattle…still looks like a nice event for free.
Good to see they’re letting the public know in advance…more warbird owners should be so considerate.

BTW: The story is “teased” on the front page of the Seattle Times today with a nice color photo of the P-51.
Link here for the front page…which also headlines 737 production rate will increase to 42 a month…that’s 2 every workday.
Well done!

The enjoyment from just turning up at an airfield in good weather and waiting to see what flies, priceless.

I think you will find most owners are very considerate.
Bit of a daft statement really, if you think about it.
Take any summer day at Duxford and see what flies…..
Duxford is the exception (and not necessarily free), there are not many places like that in the USA..outside of Chino and Week’s museum.
I’d just saying that it would be nice for warbird owners to let people know when they’re flying…when practical.
Overall my point was to give kudos to the FHC for their open (and free) events.
A good way to grow the hobby and make more enthusiasts.

” We wanted more, and so the pilot flew by sideways, so we could glimpse the bull’s-eye insignia on wings and tail, marks of the Royal Air Force.”
Reckon it would be worth the trip to Seattle to see a Hurricane being flown sideways:diablo:
