Free French Lockheed Ventura PV-1 VIP transport: fuel tank and cargo questions

A number of PV-1 Ventura were allocated to the French Navy and were used as staff transports near the end of the war.

Does anyone know if these Venturas were modified to carry extra fuel tanks in the bomb bay?

Was staff luggage and cargo kept in the nose (as done with the Lockheed Lodestar).
