There must be someone on this forum wants a free 1:250,000 scale VFR chart for the SW of England and S Wales (all the way over from Cornwall to past Bournemouth ‘wide’, and up somewhere into S Wales ‘high’. It’s the new version, out early August, paid for by the CAA and run by flyontrack. It’s got all the new Bristol/Cardiff changes on it.
As before, it’s a very easy to enter e-mail competition, closing 23:59 on August 2nd 2007 just really getting you to look at information that might be useful to you and answering a couple of questions.
I know people on this forum have won a chart before so they know ‘it works’ – come and have a go!
http://www.flyontrack.co.uk and look for the yellow question mark. Oh yes, there will be 3 on offer!
Also, new radar replay coming on same site in next day or so!

Well three winners – quite a diverse group – one spamcan/Hinton Lark BWPA member, one Jabiru BMAA member with 278 ‘strips’/airfields in the book and one with his first licence issue paperwork sitting in the CAA right now! Over 50 entries, so approx a 1 in 18 chance of being a winner. – see http://www.flyontrack.co.uk – if you want to see names.
I would look up when the next chart issue happens (and next competition) but the CAA website is down!
ALSO: the list of known (at this time) restrictions for the Summer (red arrows, duxford, old warden) on the same site has been updated – look for the ‘eyes’.
(edditt woz too korekt speling)
