Joey- Yep mate you just download the zip file, install it the same as you would your ones from Just Flight. Not 100% sure what the procedure is on FSX, I’m on FS9 myself. Got some of the nicest ones off there, if they work on FSX I can particularly recommend any of the Hunter packs, the Canberra TT18 pack, Halifax, Lancastrian, York, T7 Meteor, Lincoln, Whitley, Stirling. Depends what floats your boat really… 🙂

http://classicbritishfiles.com/ got some good stuff too 🙂
Blue – just spotted your link. I have only ever downloaded from Just Flight, so can you do the same from other sites, like the one you have linked to? I run FSX, so presumably they are all compatible. I certainly like the look of some of their aircraft.:)

Mate the reason it isn’t showing is because that is actually an FS2004 aircraft, what you need to do is to make some adjustments to your panel config in your panel folder.
If you browse to
C:/program files/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes/youraircraft/panel/panel.cfg
Basically open up the panel cfg in notepad, once there delete everything that’s in there then add this
[fltsim]
alias=B737_800panel
Save the config, boot up flight sim (If you haven’t already) then see if you can see it now. If not then you may have to do the same thing to the sound config, or let me look at the main aircraft config.

I downloaded a 767 for flightsim X here, unzipped it into the aircraft file, but does anyone know how to get it to show up in the aircraft gallery? :confused:
Hi,
What you need to do is after unzipping it, you should have a folder [for arguments’ sake, I’ll call it FOLDER 767], and inside will be a few other folders like “Model”, “Panel” etc. You need to go to the following directory:
My computer -> C -> Program Files -> Microsoft Games -> Flight Simulator X -> SimObjects -> Aircraft/Airplanes.
Once inside the directory, you need to paste the Folder 767 here. Once you’ve done this, it should show up somewhere in your FSX aircraft gallery 🙂
