French air force jets collide, two pilots dead
REIMS, France, March 10 (AFP) – 11:36 GMT – Two French air force pilots were killed Monday after their Mirage 1 jets collided on a training mission in eastern France, a military spokesman said.
The pilots were unable to eject after their planes crashed over a base near the city of Reims, 150 kilometres (90 miles) east of Paris.
