The first French astronaut in space, Claudie Haignere was taken to hospital after an apparent suicide attempt. Obviously more to this story than has been revealed so far.

It’s hard to imagine how one could get so depressed that they’d contemplate suicide..i’ve always regarded people who commit suicide as very weak people..however after a series of events close to my family.. i’m beginning to see how misguided my opinions were
