I agree sounds a little unlikely…there was a similar thing with a truck driver a few years ago in UK wasnt there ?
Cannot remember the details but ISTR the trucker was being less than honest :rolleyes:

It’s difficult to think of this story as anything other than a hoax.
Firstly, I can think of few Renault Lagunas capable of 125 mph. Secondly, at that speed for over 100 miles, the engine should have almost certainly overheated and blown and thirdly, he was supposed to have negotiated various peages at that speed.
Sorry to sound cynical, but I reckon this will be revealed as a joke.
