French Halifax plans?

Hi all,

I heard some rumours that there is a French project that plans to build a Halifax cockpit from scratch. At some point it was even rumoured that Halifax NA337 was to be sold to France. These were only rumours mind you, so I was told.

Any substance in the first option?
It would be nice if such a project would be started as the French made good use of the good old Halifax. Perhaps original parts may turn up as well if they start searching that enourmous country.
