Fresh from Duxford: BIG Mosquito TA719 "target tug" walkaround gallery! 56K warning!

Yesterday I went to Duxford to nurse my airshow withdrawal symptoms and found the Mossie in its new target tug colours. LOVELY! 😀

Museum staff was so friendly (and patient!) to let me make a walkaround of it. Since I think there are quite a few modellers and Mossie lovers amongst you guys, I am sharing the whole series here.

Apologies to 56K victims, but this is gonna kill your modem! :dev2:

Turbo NZ, that bulge is the enlarged bomb bay. Certain later marks were so equipped.

Nice photos, of a nice Mossie 🙂

All we gotta do now is persuade Corgi to do the big Mossie in that colour scheme !!!

You can get a smallish one in that colour scheme, I have one myself and its rather good.

great shots!

I noticed that there are a few vents etc. that seem to be still masked over; I wonder if these will be left in situ to prevent fod or if they are going to be removed eventually.

cheers and again great shots

Great set of shots 🙂 I saw it in the flesh for the first time today, and it does look fantastic.
