Seeing mention of the Fresson brothers and Captain Edward Fresson’s wartime flying for Scottish Airways in an earlier post prompted me to add this, by way of a big thankyou to David and Mark Miller.
As can be imagined the blustery winds and soggy Saturday meant a much smaller than planned Vintage Aircraft Club turn-out last weekend at Bicester. However David and Mark were the undoubted stars, arriving in the Scottish Airways Dragon Rapide on Sunday afternoon, then promptly burbling off on a local flight with some lucky visiting VAC members in the back!
Hopefully better weather may be in store for the next VAC fly in at Bembridge on 30th June – 1 July!
In the meantime, thankyou again to David and Mark!
