Joe,think you;re too much of a perfectionist! The pics look fantastic to me,as always! The colours are wonderfully deep, and the shots always different ,interesting angles. Keep up the good work.

Hence the second flight this year on selected days. Not long before the equipment changes to a 754.?
I don’t think a 767 is the answer.
It’s probably wiser to commence a dedicated second frequency with a 757. So you have one leaving in the AM and one leaving in the PM.
CO are far too short on widebodies even if it was possible to have a 767 service into EDI

Little birdy tells me that the Friday CO flight was as full as it could get. Not a seat free.
Perhaps a more derated take off than usual to help extend the fuel a little due to the full load
Amazing when you consider CO stopped the FRI rotation during the winter! For Christ sake anyone doing a weekender to New York would be flying Friday? 😮

Yup, they were doing that at Newark on my homeward flight, only in dollars, and the offer was to take the Birmingham flight and get connected to EDI for free.

Great shots
The light was tad disappointing, ISO 400 is never a great idea
noise-wise. I’d love have shot 100 ISO to smooth things out but never a good idea with a long lense in poor light.

CO appear to be offering hundreds of pounds at their
gate trying to induce pax to fly another day. 😮
