well there were only three large commercial jets on display on friday, all three flew great dispaly,s and the a340’s apparant glider like qualities when light really are somthing to behold….enjoy!
ps, i was wondering about trying to get some of these on airliners.net accepted what do you think??

Has anyone else noticed that the aribus aircraft have silver tape all about them?
The A340 had to large patches either side of the nose, with silver tape running along the nose and into the nose gear bay.
I can also see similar tape all over the leading edges of No.3 engine on the A340.
Does anyone know what thats is all about?
On the A318, it appears the tail has this silver tape

Some lovely shots there coanda. Lucky to have got shots of the EMB190 flying, as i appeared to have missed it. 🙁

The tail on the E190 seems to have had a last minute replacement of the forwardpart, since it is black i.s.o. blue. Looks a bit unprofessional. Quite a shame for such a high profile show. I can’t remember seeing that on the sunday show, but will certainly check the photos when i come back home thursday.
Needless to say that i will also be uploading photos from Farn, as well as LGW and LHR and probably also some AMS as well. For those on dial-up you got 2 days to get a broadband connection! 😀
