I once woke up to a ground squirrel in my sleeping bag while camping….glad that during the night I did’nt roll over and squish the little guy….i think we both surprised each other…

The question is did it clock in? Did it have a H&S Lecture and an adequate induction? Was it assigned its own desk and given guidance on remuneration and the Company pension plan?
If not, I’m sure the frog could take you to a tribunal. Was it given verbal and written warnings before dismissal? Was it dismissed for GRASS misconduct or is that just a leap of imagination?
Unless it’s mission was industrial espionage? That would account for the croak and dagger approach to your desk.
