It seems “The Dambusters” pub in Scampton has closed, and there are doubts as to the whereabouts of the various items that were displayed within.

I really hope none of it ends up on ebay I really do.
I’ve only been once but the amount of stuff was amazing.

If some artifacts are left inside, let’s just hope the place is securely locked up, otherwise the Evil Bay comment by Cypherus may, sadly, come true.
Is this closure a bit sudden or has it been on the cards for a while then? Pity, we were planning on visiting the place sometime soon. Unfortunately, I never managed to sample the food but the beer was well-kept! Sorry to see it go 🙁

Well it sounds like (if look north and Calendar are to be believed) he’s taken what ever he owned and left all the bits that have been donated, sounds fishy to me. We drove past the day after they upped an left and I rememeber saying to my mum that it looked a bit deserted.
I really hope they can get a new land lord in and everything is still inside. They did a really nice burger there 🙁

🙁 Comming to an ‘Evil Bay’ near you soon no doubt.
