It was found near the coast of North East Spain, in the Med
just over the French Spanish border.

Pegasus engine
Certainly a Bristol Pegasus.
Almost certainly from a Swordfish but this engine, with integral exhaust collector ring, was fitted to the Hampden too.
It could also be one of the Alfa Romeo-built examples from an Italian aircraft.
