Frying @ Farnborough On A Friday ~ 18Jul14

It was a bit warm sitting out in the Hampshire sunshine all day and a relief to get in the air conditioned train on the way back to London. I remember when you used to have the crowd line to yourself on a Friday, not any more. The place was packed and some of the older generation couldn’t quite grasp the concept of having to remove anything metal from your body before you stepped through the metal detector. Took about 25 minute to get through security despite that and the number of people trying to get in. First time I’ve seen an A400 fly and it looked quite impressive although the flying display during the afternoon was a bit disjointed with lots of gaps.
